Ex-NetEase exec Simon Zhu raises $100M and invests in Casey Hudson’s Star Wars game startup

GreaterThan Group’s investment in Edmonton-based Arcanaut Studios brings significant international financing to an Alberta-led game project. Founded by former BioWare general manager and Mass Effect director Casey Hudson, Arcanaut is developing Star Wars: Fate of the Old Republic, a spiritual successor to Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, which Hudson originally directed at BioWare in Edmonton.
